About this role
You will be responsible for driving and supporting the Off-trade business (specific to Modern retail: Cash& Carry, Hypers, Super, CVS, and Liquor stores) growth in an exciting spirit category. With your leadership, we aimed to continue the leadership against the growing competition and sustaining to be the most preferable choice to shoppers & consumers in every major channel and account.
You will work with Customer marketing director to define and lead the long-term customer marketing strategy, key growth drivers & activation plans, and by channel execution standard to maximize brand awareness/ impacts and drive sales performances in Off-trade through a strong collaboration with cross functional team including Off-trade sales, marketing, shopper marketing, regional customer marketing, sales effectiveness, RGM, and commercial finance.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead and develop strategic customer marketing initiatives for Modern Retail (MR) and Liquor Store (LS) channels
- Collaborate efficiently with MR/LS Sales, Regional Customer Marketing (RCM), and marketing team to translate brand/category strategy into creative brand physical activities.
- Define and implement in-outlet activities (integrated in shopper insights) based on Banner or Regional resources for MR and LS, respectively
- Closely work with customer& RCM to understand needs for channels and turn the insights into actionable and solid customer plan with brilliant execution.
- Coordinate with marketing team to build and develop brand awareness on MR and LS channels
- Lead MR and LS customer marketing annual business planning (including portfolio, channel and activation planning)
- Set clear KPIs and measurement metrics to ensure investment is well monitored and continues to be optimized in order to get the best efficiency, effectiveness, and ROI
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Mixed background of sales, brand marketing, shopper activation, preferably in consumer goods industry.
- A balanced mind of strategic planning, creativity in event/initiative development and execution.
- Flexible communication to interact with variety of (internal& external) stakeholders with different backgrounds, seniority and cultures.
- Connectivity with external trends& opportunities, and capability to embrace & experiment them at pace.
- E2E customer marketing experiences from strategic planning, plan implementing, to monitoring, tracking & evaluating the effectiveness & efficiency.
- Mature leadership to mentor the team and lead by example.
- Self-motivation and willingness to push the boundary and hold others' accountable.
- Capability to set priority and manage multiple tasks under fast moving pace culture.
- Chinese native, with excellent English in both written and spoken.
