About the role
Global Business Operations (GBO) Portfolio Finance Junior Manager is reporting to the GBO Portfolio Finance Manager, supporting as finance business partner the strategy development for the function by providing analyses, and financial modelling for long term initiatives across GBO.

The purpose of the role is to be an agile and connected finance business partner to the overall GBO strategy and overall portfolio financial planning, enabling long-term growth and the delivery of the teams' performance ambitions. Key purpose of the role to have an up to date high-level understanding of financials, processes and initiatives across the function and ensure the link across the different teams. The role will pro-actively co-ordinate across key related work-streams.
This role is consolidating the overall GBO Portfolio financial view (benefit and investment) and long term strategy from all sub-functions, including planning and financial tracking throughout the project lifecycle. This is a global role also responsible for market recharges which means a high level of complexity in terms of communication and coordination with all Regions and Market across Diageo.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance /Business Administration
- 5+years of experience in Finance (Financial controlling, FP&A etc.)
- A passion for driving balanced performance and enabling business divisions to deliver their financial ambitions
- Ability to build effective relationships across a broad set of partners, and hold people to account in delivery of their goals
- A track record of building and maintaining strong partner relationships, business partnering
- Strong analytical skills; attention to detail, yet able to connect work to the bigger picture
- Outstanding Excel and Power Point skills; ability to analyze and synthesis diverse and unstructured information
- Excellent written, oral and presentational communications skills
