About the team
FP&A Programme Management Team is established to drive a standard process & technical framework with their team members that works and supports Diageo to keep up market leader position.
The team is also accountable for the delivery of business strategic change programs, driving value through common processes and demonstrating technologies and the deployment of lean, global and compliant ways of working across Diageo in a more consistent and efficient manner.

The role of the FP&A Project Manager will be to support the FP&A Programme Manager as the point of contact for any type of projects where Finance process SME involvement is required with special focus on finance efficiency initiatives, Process Improvement deliverables and transitions, in line with FP&A priorities.
The role
- Global Role: Owns end-to-end FP&A governance processes across all Diageo finance areas, spanning geographies, functions, and joint ventures.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Builds strong alliances with key finance collaborators and business partners to gain support and ensure alignment
- Leadership and Communication: Leads with a Diageo-first approach, promoting clear communication and alignment across teams and cultures
- Subject Matter Expertise: Acts as FP&A project SME, leading or supporting global finance projects, including M&As, efficiency initiatives, and change projects
- Process Governance: Ensures finance processes align with the global strategy and leads improvements to the global framework
- Cross-Cultural Leadership: Effectively communicates and influences partners across diverse cultures, languages, and time zones.
- Business Case Support: Collaborates with finance teams to identify and submit cases for process improvements and strategic projects.
- Process Improvement: Identifies and drives opportunities to improve finance processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Controls and Compliance: Defines and embeds controls within the change agenda to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
- Transition Management: Coordinates seamless transitions in outsourcing and ensures collaborator engagement across global and outsourcing partners.
About you
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or related field
- 5+ years in FP&A or Financial Controlling roles, with shared services experience
- Solid understanding of project management and FP&A processes
- Expertise in SAP Financials and process design
- Adaptable with a positive demeanor and change management experience
- Dedicated with a focus on aligning change to strategic goals
- Excellent business partnering and partner alignment skills
- Proficient English; Power BI knowledge is a plus
