Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is integral to the business operating rhythm, providing insightful data and analysis to drive the long-term sustainable performance of Diageo. The Junior FP&A Analyst supports the generation of reports, analysis, and insights that contribute to the reporting and planning cycles. This role assists in solving basic planning and reporting challenges, ensuring data accuracy while supporting the automation and standardization of reporting processes across the region. On the other hand, The Junior FP&A Analyst supports COGS analysis focusing on the monitoring, analysis, and evaluation of the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). This position aims to provide accurate and reliable insights into COGS spending and to forecast movements based on underlying assumptions, while identifying risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining financial reports that provide analysis and data to support decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in report preparation, aligning with business needs.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment in achieving financial goals.
- Act as a point of contact for basic reporting needs, addressing inquiries as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and validate assumptions.
- Perform in-depth analysis of demand COGS, which includes supply costs (e.g., distilling, bottling, packaging) and distribution costs (warehousing, freight) incurred during product sales.
- Continuously monitor COGS values to ensure accurate reporting and timely identification of variances against forecasts and budgets.
