About the Role
The Financial Controller of Africa is based in Budapest but requires leading and coordinating and coaching people both in an immediate team under the FC structure, across region and in country, but also in other functions such as tax, group accounting, local accounting and tax providers when it comes to financial controls matters for the geography.

Role is the one point contact and business partner for the Cluster Director / Country Director and Cluster / Country Commercial Finance Director when it comes to all point financial controls related for the geography. This position reports to the EABL Group Financial Controller while it's responsibility managing a team for the respective territory.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide high quality financial support to the Region and the respective territory
- Provide accurate monthly forecasts for Overhead, A&P and Working capital / Cash agenda
- Manage overhead, A&P and cash planning annual exercise
- Driving agenda to identify opportunities to deliver Overhead, A&P annual budgets and to improve the Working Capital position in co-operation with Country Commercial Finance team
- Create and maintain high quality and effective internal control area. Deliver successful internal & external audits. Ensure RTR processes are SOX compliant
- Manage / coach a team for the respective territory
About you
- University / College degree in finance / business/ accounting
- Fluency in English
- Minimum of 4-6 years working and management experience in a multinational corporate environment, with exposure to some of the following areas: Financial and Management Accounting, Controlling & Reporting processes
- Accounting standards (IFRS/ statutory reporting experience & knowledge)
- Internal / external audit experience and/or SOX
- Senior stakeholder management.
- MS office applications, Expertise in SAP FI and SAP BW
- ACCA qualification or similar ongoing studies is an advantage
