Management Responsibility:

Accompanying and supporting performance on Quality critical metrics for Supplier´s development / assurance.

Leading and supporting Internal sites with the identification, prioritization and timely resolution of quality-related risks / problems with Diageo Tequila Own Manufacturing sites.

Communicating progress toward objectives and any risk out of control to Tequila Supply Leaders on a timely basis.

Complexity of the Role:

Drive identification of cost-effective improvements, accompany supplier assurance program, Quality capabilities program, improve to support current and future business needs.

Troubleshoot Manufacturing sites issues (including but not limited to GMP, HACCP, Root Cause Problem Solving RCPS, test procedures, lab management, processing capability, operations, warehousing, shipping practices and application of statistics for decision making analysis).

Partner with Manufacturing Leaders ensuring standard methodologies for processes execution, delivering timely and accurate training/certification, guidance and support for all people involved, as well as Risk Assessment for controls implementation, improvement action definition as well as statistical process control to validate process capacity by design for delivering Zero Defects strategy and culture (RFT).

Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages:
  • At least 6 years direct manufacturing and quality experience in beverages, food, packaging or a related industry.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant physical science or engineering / MBA a plus.
  • Trained as Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, 45001, 17025)
  • Excellent coaching, influencing, communication and project management skills.
  • Good at networking to establish excellent relationships at all levels, site contacts and Suppliers.
  • Languages: English and Spanish - fluent
  • Leadership of Management Systems across Early Quality Development Programs with experience in HACCP, FSSC22000 and ISO9001 (must).
  • Understanding in national and international regulation and standards of Food Safety, including Laboratory Administration, desirable EMA accreditation process.
  • Green belt or equivalent in lean six sigma methodology (Desirable)
  • Desirable: Certified Trainer in problem solving and improvement projects (DMAIC, 5WHY, 8D'S, SIPOC, AMEF, SPC, Control Plans, MSA, PPAP).
  • Experience at design and execution of Consumer Centric strategies for Quality Improvement purposes.
  • High Degree of Business Ethics & Values.
