About you
We are looking for a Philippines tax specialist, who is proactive, organized and ambitious to grow their career within finance.
What does this role look like for you?
The Tax & Financial Reporting Manager's role is to take ownership of all tax reporting processes for the Don Papa's Philippines business, including the interpretation and application of tax law, preparation of tax returns and dealing with tax authorities. The role will also lead the financial reporting processes of the Don Papa business. This role reports into Don Papa's Head of APAC Supply & Finance, with a dotted line to the Finance Director.
Key activities include:
- Managing the VAT refund process for rum liquid exports.
- Supporting on tax submissions such as CIT.
- Prepare & support TP documentation as required.
- Support collating information / prepare documentation in response to Tax authorities' inquiry.
- Compiling information as required for Various Tax audits- TP, CIT, Customs, VAT etc.
- Manage the preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements for external use.
- Assist in the coordination of annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditors.
- Liaise with the audit team to prepare audited financial statements for each entity.
- Any other Ad-hoc support for Tax Compliance/ Tax Audits/External Audits.
What you need to bring to this role:
- 5-6 years' experience in finance/tax.
- Experience in dealing with Philippines tax authorities.
- Experience in FMCG is a plus.
- Fluent in English, able to communicate effectively to build strong relationships with operational staff and stakeholders.
