About the role:

Job Description:

Scope of Role:
The Louisiana Distributor Manager will lead 7 distributors in Louisiana territory, with over 340k ce's. Louisiana market hosts multiple non-premise events, while required travel is limited, weekend participation is a must.

The role will be leading wholesaler execution against quarterly & monthly business targets. Ensuring all tools are in place to support attainment of goals. Clearly communicate goals and partner with distributor to achieve and drive end results.

  • Share Growth - Drive strong execution including distribution & display execution.
  • Distributor Engagement - Drive Annual Operating Plan attainment
  • P&L Management


Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for AOP volume and distribution goals, provide grounded market insights including industry dynamics and competitive information.
  • Reporting/management against Key Performance Indicators, Display Standards, & Beer Industry benchmarks.
  • Communicate monthly program calendar and drive execution on programming within distributor sales force.
  • Analyze on/off-premise channels within territory to effectively plan and implement promotional activities.
  • Ensure excellent retail execution is being achieved in key Off-Premise & On-Premise accounts
  • Plan and lead investment (Beer & FMBs)
  • Compile all national selling material/tools/resources for distributor general sales meetings and weekly team meetings.
  • Plan development/execution metrics for marketing activities with the distributors.
  • Strong collaboration with chains and cross-functional teams to complete programming
  • Complete in-person quarterly distributor review Meetings to ensure alignment on all programs & goals
  • Management of tactical budgets
  • Work collaboratively with distributor brand managers 60 days in advance to agreed upon targets
  • Build sales competencies & create strong working relationships.
  • In trade days expected
    • Regularly in-market to evaluate quality of program execution and brand performance
    • Quarterly all company blitz weeks
    • Wholesaler scheduled work withs 1-2 per month per distributor.


Experience / skills required:

Qualifications And Experience Required
  • Bachelors degree required or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 5-7 years field experience, Alcohol or CPG industry experience preferred
  • Ability to engage, influence, and coordinate wholesalers who may have different strategic initiatives.
  • Must be a self-starter with a proven track record in influencing others with the use of fact-based selling.
  • Must be well organized and possess the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives. Able to generate ideas to develop the market.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, VIP & Nielsen
  • Must have valid driver's license
