Job Title: Digital Content Coordinator

About the role:

The position of Digital Content Coordinator will drive the day-to-day project management and trafficking of digital shelf content across Diageo's vast brand portfolio. This successful candidate should demonstrate a working knowledge of best-in-class product content standards and an unwavering desire to develop an expertise in the eCommerce channel! Content includes: bottle renders, secondary images, product titles, product descriptions, and enhanced below-the-fold content.

This role will support two eComm Content & Syndication managers as well as the broader team's mission of developing and syndicating best-in-class product content, driving shopper relevancy and conversion. The content coordinator is key to ensuring Diageo brands are available and visible online, delivering sales and share across strategic account retailers (e.g. Walmart, Kroger, Albertson's) as well as 3rd party marketplaces such as DoorDash, Instacart, and UberEats.

An ideal candidate sets a high standard for team operations, quality of digital content, and has the ability to multitask across many projects at various stages of development. They will lead trafficking of projects, holding approvers accountable for their role in hitting key deadlines. Additionally, they display the desire and ability to optimize process through operational and technological enhancements and prioritize keeping the broader team organized.

Complexity:
  • Project managing and developing basic and enhanced product content
  • Understanding/preempting of content-creation best practices
  • Must have strong project management skills - ability to handle multiple complex projects from start to finish
  • Actively leads and structures team workflow, tasks, and communication to ensure everyone is aligned, aware of deadlines, and working efficiently towards project goals
  • Builds relationships with agencies and cross functional partners such as brand and legal
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized, with an appreciation for nuances in product images, naming conventions, etc


Role Responsibilities:
  • Develops/maintains digital assets
  • Trafficking of assets for approvals across teams
  • Manages all asset transfer between Diageo partners and internal platforms
  • Understands end user systems


Experience / skills required: :

College graduate with 3-5 years of experience that includes:
  • Working knowledge of database software/systems in the creative/brand asset space
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal and external partners
  • Experience with major CPG or beverage category a plus
  • Highly developed project management skills
  • Customer relationship building skills
  • Although not a specific requirement, experience and/or an understanding of the alcohol industry's 3 tier distribution model (suppliers, distributors, retailers) and regulatory landscape is preferred.
