About the Role
This role is part of the GOGBL Leadership Team. The role will support the MD in the day to day running of the operation. The role is critical to ensure the smooth, consistent delivery of the product, maintaining legal and community obligations, assisting with the management of partners to support the MD in day to day running of business. Location

- Restaurants/Taproom/bars - world class food and beer produced and served on site.
- Central all weather historic courtyard with world class bar experience.
- Retail spaces, one of which will stock items produced through exciting short-term brand collaborations.
- Bespoke 5th floor glass box rooftop eating and drinking experience creating brand new rooftop view of London.
- Brewery and beer experience/tasting tours.
- Cultural events space designed and fitted out with technology to enable world class meeting and conference experiences
You will be responsible for:
- Deputising for the MD in their absence for both internal and external matters
- in addition to helping the day to day operation, will in particular assist with licensing commitments, OMP commitments, local community relations and the Sodexo relationship.
- Supporting the MD in delivering the overall objectives and aims of the business
- Supporting the MD in delivery of the financial targets
- Managing and liaising with business partners
- Supporting the community partnership plan
- Recruitment and training of staff
- Delivery of NPS targets
- Line management of Duty Managers
Key Stakeholders
The role reports into the Managing Director, GOGBL, and is part of the GOGBL Leadership Team. The role holder will need to build a relationship and work closely with relevant colleagues responsible for the growth strategy in Guinness and the wider Diageo GB team.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Experience of managing an Experiential venue
- Experience of managing a large scale hospitality venue ( ideally greater than 1,000 capacity)
- Experience of working in the West End in partnership with licensing, police and other authorities
- Crisis management experience / training
- Experience of venues offering different experiences; bar, restaurant, events, experiential
- Experience of opening a new venue or of large scale capex investment launches
- Experience of managing large teams (+100 staff)
- Experience of working closely with key stakeholders
- Experience of delivering high standards and NPS delivery
- Experience of P&L delivery and management
