We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Sr. Analyst to join Diageo team. This role is pivotal in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights to drive strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate is a guide in database management, proficient in data visualization and analysis tools, and excels in bridging technical expertise with business approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Management: Design, handle, and optimize databases to ensure accurate and efficient data storage and retrieval.

Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making and business strategies.

Data Visualization: Develop dynamic dashboards and reports using tools like Microsoft Power BI and Excel to present insights clearly and effectively.

Data Quality Assurance: Maintain data integrity by conducting regular audits, validations, and implementing standard methodologies for data governance.

Multi-functional Collaboration: Partner with business team members to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

Critical Thinking: Approach problems with a big-picture mentality while paying close attention to detail. Provide forward-thinking recommendations that align with organizational goals.

Trend Analysis and Forecasting: Use advanced statistical techniques to identify trends and provide actionable forecasts.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends and tools in data management and analysis to improve the team's capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Confirmed experience in database management and data architecture.

• Expertise in Microsoft Power BI and Excel, including advanced formulae, pivot tables, and dashboard creation.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.

• Good attention to detail without losing sight of broader objectives.

• Strong business approach and the ability to communicate technical findings in non-technical terms.

• Outstanding problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

• Proficiency in querying languages such as SQL; familiarity with Python or R is a plus. (Desired)

• Familiarity with data governance practices and standards. (Desired)

• Experience in statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques. (Optional)
