To accurately take on these challenges, we have to accelerate our commercial capabilities in order to be able to exceed consumers & customers expectations and achieve our daring business goals, which include understand and develop customers passionate about middle class consumers, as well as craft the accurate differentiation to strategic customers with the ambition to gain penetration in TBA.

This position is Responsible for handling and implementing the commercial calendar, orchestrate all activities and budget (A&P + Trade Spend) in POS dedicated to Modern Trade. Closely partners with Head of MT and marketing team to ensure we have effective promotions, activities, calendar, and a winning mix of brand & category activity to drive business performance (planner detailed execution), requires complex judgement based on advanced analytical thought.

As leader in the company this position requires Influence and leadership skills are to make things happen aligning multiple internal and external partners as well as developed communication skills, ability to negotiate mainly internally and often at higher levels ; commercial competence is required, experience leading a modern trade account is a bonus.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Modern Trade Strategy
  • Define investments across sub channels and customers (A&P + Trade Spend)
  • Partner with channel head to guarantee results delivery
  • Customer Facing to create joint business plans
  • Collaborate with marketing to understand and deploy marketing plans in to point of sale activities.
  • Handle End to End process to assure OTIF activities
  • Collaborate on demand planning process pushing teams to deliver performance ambitions

  • Portfolio Strategy definition with Marketing
  • Operational: logistics and operational cost savings opportunities
  • Develop of commercial policies appropriate to the market and defend our policies during negotiations, aligned with our values, principles and processes

Requirements

  • Critical thinking and overview of the business with the capacity to establish a long-term plan for balanced growth
  • Commercial experience, with adequate management and understanding as well as financial P&L.
  • Requires a high level of leadership, capable of working collaboratively with other areas and functions within Diageo.
  • Must influence other areas, external partners and clients to implement new processes and acquire results.
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills with internal and external clients.
  • Good analytical skills and knowing how to obtain the right information and make things happen in the organization.
  • Capacity to develop project management, business and financial skills
  • High communication skills, inspiring and directive
  • Languages Fluent Spanish and English
  • University degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience
  • High influence, Commercial, Mkt, Finance, Supply
