Diageo Australia employs approximately 420 people and operates in Australia with two production sites in Bundaberg and Huntingwood.
This is a crucial role supporting various aspects of our quality administrative processes including Consumer contact. This position requires a combination of administrative skills, customer service skills and strong attention to detail to ensure consumer and quality complaints are being addressed in a timely manner that protects the reputation of Diageo Australia.
What does this role look like for you?
- Responsibility for facilitating the correct collection and entry of data from consumers into a relevant data base.
- Part of the Customer Service Team; Help in phone coverage if required, engaging team for input on new/changes in processes for Consumer Care
- Proactively review and ensure process/systems to maintain the integrity of Service to internal and external customers.
- Ensure that a quality of merchandise is always on hand for consumers. Also to ensure that all relevant paraphernalia is available e.g. merchandise catalogues.
- To provide detailed reports to the business on a monthly basis on Consumer Complaints and Enquiries. Reporting for Audit and compliance purposes.
- Trending and monitoring of complaint data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure any information received which could impact on a promotion or the sale of a product is escalated when necessary to the Marketing Brand Team, Quality Control and Customer Service Manager
- Develop commercial relationships in order to further understand customer strategies and plans. Facilitate collaborative working and resolve areas of potential conflict.
- Provides excellence in customer relationship service to the consumer relating to inquiries and concerns as well as turnaround times for issue resolution.
What Will you bring to the table?
- Previous experience within a FMCG company preferred
- Customer/Consumer focused career background preferred
- PC and MS Office application ability, preferable Excel.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong influencing and communication skills to various internal and external stakeholders
- Composure and resilience in dealing with difficult customers or situations
- Can comfortably manage commercially sensitive information to maintain business and brand integrity and reputation
- Previous use of Salesforce, Concur, Coupa systems preferred
