About the Role

As our Commercial Planner for the Luxury Portfolio, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and profitability for Diageo's luxury brands in Thailand. You will develop and execute strategic plans, analyze market dynamics, and optimize commercial activities to maximize returns on investment and brand impact. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and making data-driven decisions, you will ensure the luxury channel contributes significantly to Diageo Moet Hennessy Thailand's success

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the luxury channel strategy to achieve growth and brand equity.
  • Manage the commercial planning budget and optimize spending to achieve financial targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless execution of channel-specific strategies.
  • Conduct performance analysis and provide insights to influence investment plans and strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the financial impact of commercial activities.
  • Lead the development and execution of channel-specific tactics and activations.


Business Dimension

Financial
  • Make independent decisions on channel-specific tactics and activations within the luxury portfolio.
  • Recommend adjustments to investment plans based on performance analysis and market insights.
  • Contribute to the achievement of luxury portfolio net sales volume, sell-in, depletion, and CAAP goals.


Market Complexity
  • Focus on the luxury portfolio within the Thai market, understanding unique dynamics and consumer preferences.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute channel-specific strategies.
  • Operate within a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.


People Management
  • Work effectively with internal stakeholders (Head of Luxury, CP&A, Category Development, Activation, Commercial, Supply, Finance) to ensure alignment and effective execution.
  • Communicate effectively and influence stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders (customers, activation agencies) to drive business growth.


About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in trade marketing or a related field, preferably within the FMCG or alcohol industry.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Knowledge of the Thai luxury channel landscape and key players.
  • Experience in luxury brands management or collaboration.
