About the Role
The Bio Energy Business Leader (BL) role is a very exciting opportunity at Diageo, in the Bio Energy Plant Team at Cameronbridge. We are looking for someone who will provide leadership through delivering outstanding results and setting clear strategic direction to your operational area to run the business.
Some of the key responsibilities are:
- Owning / Supporting the BioEnergy Plant important metric targets across shifts, leading on T1 and T2 to track and drive performance, while ensuring safety is the number 1 priority.
- Undertake direct line management responsibility for two intact shifts of operators and craft technicians to support the existing Business Leaders.
- Use the 1:1 P4G process to performance lead and coach the development of members of team to deliver each quarter goals and support career development.
- Ensure adherence to environmental permits, SEPA regulations, and other statutory regulatory mandates.
- Address contractor management responsibilities including RAMS review and Permit Issue
- Be part of the end-to-end CapEx process to develop Business Cases, User requirement specifications (URS) and project implementation to deliver sustainable growth within the BioEnergy plant.
- Review the daily asset maintenance schedule and allocate resources to achieve the Plant Preventative Maintenance (PPM) completion rate >80%.
Experience / skills required:
- Chemical or Process Engineering Degree preferred or other relevant Engineering degree/experience.
- Excellent team building and mentorship skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to connect with stakeholders.
- Experience in a process or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in leading and delivering projects within a functional team.
- NEBOSH certification and Permit Writing experience preferred but training will be given if required.
