Business Insight Manager
About this role
The Business Insight Manager is responsible for driving strategic commercial initiatives, optimizing operational processes, and supporting the commercial team in achieving business objectives. This role requires a strong blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities to ensure that the company's commercial operations are efficient, scalable, and aligned with overall business goals.
The role encompasses two primary areas: commercial planning and operations. In the commercial planning aspect, the role involves analyzing the performance of past initiatives, setting future commercial priorities based on a quantitative assessment of opportunities, and balancing these with strategic priorities and available capacity. The operations aspect focuses on optimizing processes to enable the commercial team to concentrate on executing the initiatives that have been strategically aligned.

You will be responsible for:
Commercial planning and strategy
- Translate marketing and portfolio plans to prioritised execution targets to deliver the plan, and work with Commercial Director to cascade targets
- Lead the definition of outlet standards (MPA/MAS), outlet segmentation, insights and analytics, data standards, omni channel coverage strategy, measuring outlet execution & performance management routines.
Operations management
- Streamline and optimise commercial processes, in particular shopper & innovation processes
- Review and approve changes to Sales Incentive Programme (SIP) target updates and facilitate SIP calculations
Performance analysis and reporting
- Identify areas of course correction required using performance data.
- Review past initiative's performance and ensure learnings are understood and acted upon.
Team leadership and stakeholder management
- Develop direct and indirect teams to deliver more value add
- Maintain connection with cross functional stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum of [5-8] years of experience in commercial planning, operations, or a related role within a fast-paced business environment
- Proven track record of developing and implementing commercial strategies that drive growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and performance management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in commercial planning tools, CRM systems, and data analytics software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
