Overview:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading and developing the Ohio Low Proof strategy to deliver the AOP and Nielsen Share.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in the Spirits industry managing forecasts, distributor execution, supply, allocations, innovation, and communication across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and communicate sales and distributor execution to key stakeholders
  • Working cross-functionally with State Director, Supply, Sales, RGM, Activation, National Accounts, and On Premise
  • Forecast, organize, and communicate innovation to local distributor teams
  • Communicate with supply to anticipate opportunities and challenges
  • Plan and communicate priorities to National and Regional Account Distributor KAMs- including developing priorities, presenting material, and developing relationships with key customers
  • Distributor Partnership- Collaborate and align with distributor on programming, execution expectations, and develop a consistent business cadence
  • National Account Programming- develop relationships with internal National Account teams and execute planner programming, innovation, and new distribution
  • Measure ROI as it relates to Activation and Programming
  • Lead distributor management to achieve annual plan
  • Lead quarterly performance review sessions


Role Requirements:
  • Experience working in distributor management and sales execution
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, allocations, VAP, inventory
  • Ability to standardize and streamline business practices, tools, resources, and communication
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain processes to streamline distributor network
