Role Responsibilities:
Project & Data Management:
- Responsible for the end-to-end cross functional oversight and delivery of Innovation, Brand Change and Supply Optimization programs from Gate 1 to Launch.
- Delivering a variety of programs at any one time with varying degrees of complexity, on time, in full, on budget and achieving the KPI's which connect directly to COGS
- Sitting within the Technical organization this role acts as a business partner to the rest of Supply, Innovation (Technical and Marketing), Commercial and Brand Marketing.
- Provide Supply input & commercial grounding during project development phases, driving resolution of commercialization hurdles that may arise and managing regular project communications to Supply and Demand project sponsors, Technical Operations and the broader Supply community.
- Utilize advanced Project Management skills to ensure Diageo technical best practices are adhered to.
- Nurtures and builds strong relationships with stakeholders in Demand and throughout the Supply organization.
- Seamless delivery of all SKU data creation on project activity in Korea such that data development is never the cause of failure to meet Brand Change KPIs
- Development and implementation of a stream of data and SKU creation improvement ideas within the SAP/PLM framework such that resources are more effectively deployed and SKU data can be created more quickly, hence mitigating impact to project timelines
- Creating strong relationships with Global Data Management Teams
Quality Management
- Provide Quality technical leadership and coaching to operational teams on meeting Diageo standards and policies, targets and compliance to legislation, to assure quality of finished product.
- To identify , manage and escalate any quality incidents (i.e. ingredients, components and final product) ensuring responsible managers are aware of significant internal or any external incidents
What you need to bring to this role:
- 3+ years of Technical & Professional development experience in consumer package technology.
- BS in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related Technical field, with knowledge of product commercialization.
- Strong eye for business (w/awareness of data analytics), communication, interpersonal, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in successfully leading a multi-disciplined team in an extremely fast-moving environment, with the ability to manage, provide guidance and cut-through in the face of great ambiguity.
- Successful candidates will have strong technical depth and performance management skills, dynamic cross-functional interaction, and highly effective project management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Theoretical knowledge of primary package design, liquid development, and manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Understanding and experience in plant operations.
- Fluent in English
