PAY RATE: $40.59/hour. Pay progression, 70% first year ($28.41) and then an additional 5% per 2,080 additional worked hours.
WORK LOCATION: 110 Arnaud St, Amherstburg ON, N9V 2N8
SCHEDULE: Schedule presently Monday through Friday with the possibility of Saturday and Sunday shifts. by-weekly rotation of Midnights, Afternoons, Days - 11pm to 7am - 7am-3:00pm - 3pm-11pm.
About You
You are passionate about manufacturing and your experience is based on being observant, innovative, dependable and reliable.
You understand that safety and approved operating standards are paramount. When needed you act quickly and with a minimum supervision to keep a safe work environment.
- Supplying packaging materials to the lines, including but not limited to; labeler adhesive, caps, labels, re-shippers, cartons, case packer and Cartoner adhesive.
- Daily management of the tank room to ensure adequate supply of liquid to the Packaging lines, completion of filler and tank washes as well as coordination of liquid movements with Processing as required for liquid supply.
- Management of all supply corrugate to the proper waste streams. Share line dunnage removal duties with line teams - e.g. cardboard bins and glass bins.
- Receive bottling materials and verify shipment is correct - 100% daily validation of all materials against the daily kitting list for all materials received and brought to the Bottling operations for production.
- Place materials in proper locations and follow correct FIFO procedures
- Organize, clean, manage and maintain 5S in the label and glue rooms. Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
- 100% compliance of all supply verification sheets, QC process confirmations checks and quality checklists.
- Report and material non-conformance issues to Quality or Team Lead.
- Perform Cycle counts as required
- Perform Loose Bag Management as required. Maintain zero loose bags not weighed and counted.
- Expected to run equipment on the Bottling lines when not required in the Supply role.
- All other duties as assigned
