Context:
Global Business Operations (GBO) strive demonstrate Diageo's Operating Model by supporting standard processes and systems with effective and efficient shared services across Diageo and is responsible for Financial Control, Supplier Experience, End to End Commercial, HR and Master Data experience. It also encompasses a significant part of the group's Financial Planning, Reporting and Treasury activities (Accounting, Control and Performance). Shared Services locations include Budapest, Bangalore, Bogota, and Manila.

Market Complexity:
- The role will have indirect accountability to encourage the broader Supplier experience are of 400+ team members to derive data insights.
- The role would entail responsibility for the step change, standardisation and process harmonisation of processes across GBO served countries.
Key Customers include:
- GBO Cross functional Experience Areas (Finance, Commercial, Master Data, Commercial etc..)
- Internal Supplier experience area team
- D&T team
Leadership Responsibilities & capabilities:
The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership capabilities by effectively handling cross-functional teams, driving data analytics and insights. This role involves collaboration with various customers, including technical teams, business users, and project sponsors.
Purpose of Role:
The primary purpose is to:
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement
- Deliver tangible business results through effective project and process management
- Enable the organisation to achieve strategic objectives by improving operational efficiency and effectiveness
Top Accountabilities:
Project Management & Process Improvement:
- Handle end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely and successful project completion within Supplier experience
- Handle the process improvement portfolio within Supplier Experience, ensuring effective critical metrics and controls monitoring etc.
- Facilitate value stream mapping sessions to identify and implement process improvements
- Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness agenda
Customer Management:
- Engage with customers to understand their requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with project goals & deliverables
- Lead various Tier and Process Quality meetings, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues
Communication & Presentation:
- Deliver clear and compelling presentations to partners, showcasing project progress and outcomes
Technical Proficiency:
- Utilise tools like Power Automate, Alteryx, Minitab, Python, Power BI, and SQL to drive process improvements and analyse data
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Qualification:
- Master's degree in a relevant field,
- Black belt / Green belt certification is must
- PMP certification preferred
Work experience & skills:
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in project management and process improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation capabilities with advanced in excel & power point
- Demonstrated ability to handle and engage with customers effectively
- Experience leading meetings and facilitating collaborative efforts
- Hands-on experience with Power Automate, Alteryx, Minitab, Python, Power BI, and SQL
Barriers to Success in Role:
- Absence of Black / Green Belt certification or equivalent process improvement credentials
- Inability to lead projects end-to-end or prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
- Inability to communicate optimally or present information clearly to customers
- Difficulty in handling customer expectations and relationships
- Insufficient hands-on experience with the required technical tools
- Lack of understanding or experience in innovating process portfolios within STP and supervising critical metrics and controls
