To enable this, a regional level Business planning role has been established to perform key functional area within Integrated Business planning team, spanning all APAC marekts' IBP process and KPI results, leveraging a central pool of expertise to ensure standard and effective practices across countries.

Purpose of Role
This role is responsible for leading APAC level weekly/ monthly business planning process with market IBP Leads and regional stakeholders. It will lead regional demand planner team to supervise and facilitate markets' forecast accuracy and process maturity improvement, by providing valuable business insights with digital solution and enhancing process standard. It's expected to lead structural improvements of S&OP/IBP process, planner capability and digitization transformation.
While responsible for Business planning, this role will be instrumental in developing, implementing and managing strategic business planning initiatives including portfolio segmentation and strategy, end-to-end supply collaborations to ensure a balance on all aspects and trade-offs of supply at right inventory levels and minimal out of stocks, whilst delivering a responsive supply chain that fulfils Sales forecasts.

Top Accountabilities
Run & Improve the S&OP/IBP process for APAC level
- Facilitate region level weekly/monthly S&OP/IBP process and tire drumbeats
- Lead Demand planner team to generate and improve 18-24 month rolling statistical forecast
- Oversee and strengthen markets' demand forecasting operational processes with baseline plus building block approach
- Provide analysis of outliers/ trend to generate key insights to market IBPs and stakeholders for timely correction
- Work with market IBP leads to improve KPIs (Bias, forecast accuracy and Forecast value add) and support action plan implementation
- Improve maturity of APAC level S&OP/IBP Process
Develop Value Add Analysis to influence business decision
- Communicate business performance and escalation for market interventions
- Drive value discussion, scenario planning for business assumption and O&R calibration w stakeholders
- Provide visibility and rational prediction to support business decisions
- Lead region system/ digital tools/analytics developments
Accelerate integration of E2E business planning
- Optimize product portfolio by regular review and insight sharing with markets
- Develop demand segmentation model and propose market forecasting strategy
- Participate in the formulation and execution of supply chain strategy, driving the optimization of supply chain
- Drives demand and supply integration and facilitate supply trade-off alignment
- Communicate critical changes, assess and mitigate supply chain implications
- Escalate necessary/significant issue for quick resolution
- Contribute to planning talents growth and excellence in the execution of their function.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and executing Demand Planning and Integrated Business Planning processes.
- Ability to foster effective relationships, especially with senior stakeholders and demonstrate strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Good business acumen and data sensitivity, understanding P&L and supply chain end-to-end desired.
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, VBA, Power BI etc., and have strong data analysis skills.
- Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain and cross functions' interface
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with an ability to anticipate, effectively prioritise and progress workload.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across various levels of the diverse organization.
- 6+ years of experience in Planning and Supply chain including 3+ years' experience in managing S&OP process (multi country experience would be an advantage.
- Prior experience leading and embedding S&OP best practice ways of working
- Track records of successful supply chain optimization/ transformation projects.
- Degree or equivalent in appropriate supply chain, finance, or business management degree.
