About you:
- We're looking for an individual with an aim to be the best and to lead the growth of the agave process. To deliver our goals with 0 accidents and drive sustainability inclusion and diversity, in our mission to be the leader in the Tequila industry from Plant to Glass.

About the role:
- Coordinate and supervise the team of technicians, providing support for the correct development of maintenance activities and improving maintenance indicators (MTBF, MTTR, Compliance, Backlog).
- Owning the mechanical engineering department, and ensuring the continued development of all team members
- Optimize the mechanical engineering resources to ensure people, equipment & plant objectives are met in full or exceeded, and all legislative requirements are met.
- Investigation and remedying of engineering problems in all areas of operations through optimized ways of working and use of RCPS tools and using appropriate resources
- Analyze SAP data and use this to develop and deliver a maintenance improvement program
- Support the operating teams for the implementation of autonomous maintenance
- Working to ensure compliance with Diageo Global Risk Management Standards.
- Define the scope and supervise the work done by third parties, ensuring that it is done in compliance with the agreed safety and quality guidelines.
- Ensure maintenance representation at Hazop, Risk Assessments, Hazcon, and Hazdem.
- Implement and follow up on the Safety and Hygiene guidelines.
- Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and lead external contractors and suppliers to ensure they deliver expected level of service.
- Lead the implementation of practices, risk controls and Manufacturing Excellence standards and quality management systems in their area of responsibility.
- Actively promote continuous improvement through DMAIC projects and root cause analysis to proactively identify and eliminate the causes that impact quality, productivity and cost.
- Implement and develop predictive maintenance techniques
- Provide technical advice and advice on Diageo's way of working to technicians and team.
- Participate in investment projects from the definition stage to implementation and start-up.
- Ensure accurate and up to date criticality of all site assets.
- Actively lead and drive the development of the mechanical maintenance department within own site and across the SC & P function.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Functional:
- Engineering in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Mechatronics, Instrumentation and Control or equivalent.
- Language native Spanish and intermediate - advance English level is needed.
- Confirmed experience, at least 3 years, as a maintenance execution/planning coordinator.
- Excellent mechanical experience gained within the maintenance function of a process industry is crucial.
- Knowledge of Tequila production and processes and experience leading lean manufacturing initiatives would be advantageous.
- Personnel management and collaboration.
- MS Office, MS Project, SAP PM computing
