KOREAN TEACHER. Teach Korean language to high school students. Create Korean curriculum and select course materials. Assign, review and correct homework and tests. Evaluate and assess individual student skills and pinpoint the areas needing further instruction and guidance. Document all instructional materials and methods. Use consistent school-wide practices and individualized methods to engage students. Evaluate academic achievement through analysis of student performance. Assist in creating, monitoring, and sustaining a disciplined school culture of high academic and behavioral standards. Communicate with the Principal on students' performance. Keep abreast of developments in language teaching methods and resources. Observe and coach 1-2 Korean teachers, review their teaching materials, provide feedback, and assess professional development. Track student achievement within Korean department. Conduct department meetings, oversee department purchasing and events, and plan department professional development activities.
