Senior Business Analyst (Provider Network)

The Senior Business Analyst will be a vital member of Delta Dental's Network Administration team. This role involves complex data gathering, research, interpretation, reporting, and the development of policies and procedures at both the enterprise and divisional levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Transforms data into impactful business insights, strategy recommendations and implementation plans to improve key performance metrics for the business
  • Performs dependency analysis, functional design review, workflow analysis, use case analysis, and data and process modeling
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business needs and provide guidance to address desired capabilities
  • Prepares written reports and verbal presentations summarizing project objectives, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Conducts complex data gathering, research, and interpretation to support business decisions
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive reports for various stakeholders
  • Creates and updates policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
  • Documents and analyzes business impacts, develops case scenarios for new or enhanced systems
  • Analyzes, tests, and assists in the implementation of workflow and process maps
  • Provides recommendations for resolving complex operational issues

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate business processes and recommend effective solutions
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly while maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Delta Dental products, policies, claims, eligibility, and guidelines
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel and communicate clearly in a professional manner
  • Proficient with SQL, Visio, Power Apps, Excel, and Power BI

    Base Pay Information

    The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $74,000 - $170,900
