Performance Engineer

The Performance Engineer will work along side both business and technical team members to ensure the usability and functionality of products, services and systems. This role will contribute to the overall organization by working to deliver quality standards using the team's testing systems to ensure efficiency, reliability and performance. Your work will also contribute to the organization's overall strategic plan to maintain and improve production quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews non-functional requirements and specifications and provides feedback
  • Prioritizes, plans and coordinates testing activities
  • Develops scripts and other assets to execute non-functional testing
  • Coordinates the execution of and analyses the performance of batch process for major systems
  • Executes performance and other non-functional testing
  • Assists with the management of the non-functional testing environments

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience minimum along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Knowledge of QA principles, concepts, systems, industry practices, and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with industry standard performance testing tools, such as LoadRunner, NeoLoad or JMeter.

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 20. $71,400 - $149,500
