The position is responsible for the manual and electronic preparation of incoming mail and interoffice documents into predetermined categories, and/or the preparation and shipment of outgoing mail and packages.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies, sorts, and prepares incoming documents by category according to established guidelines
- Sorts, prepares, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail, including interoffice and supply orders
- Electronically assigns documents into categories
- Prepares and/or scans documents on a high-speed scanner
- Serves as back-up to other departmental functions
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GE
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task and handle interruptions
- Working knowledge of standard office equipment, including a personal computer, printer, copier, and fax machine
- Knowledge of MS Office Excel
- Ability to operate metered mail machines and scanning equipment
- Ability to work in a noisy environment
