The Network Development Specialist is a critical member of the enterprise's Network Development team with responsibility for developing strong, stable provider networks nationwide and facilitating key recruitment related activities. This position will cultivate new and existing relationships with providers and their staff, Dental Service Organizations (DSOs), and internal business partners across the enterprise. This is a high-volume sales position.

- Leads strategic recruitment initiatives, managing projects and resources across the assigned territory to ensure impactful, results-driven execution.
- Designs and executes innovative outreach strategies to maximize provider engagement and expand network reach.
- Analyzes the value and cost-effectiveness of potential provider contracts, offering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
- Fosters strong, influential relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, creating seamless collaboration across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in provider sales and outreach.
- This person needs to be located in the state of Montana.
- Prior experience with cold calling is preferred, along with experience in a high-volume, metrics-drive sales environment.
- Utilizes strong verbal and written communication, networking, negotiating, problem solving and conflict management skills.
- Ability to demonstrate strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills including time management, collaboration, and network and competitor analysis.
- Bachelor's degree - preferred.
- PC literacy required; MS Office skills.
- A high level of MS Excel is necessary.
- Ability to travel, including overnight stays; airplane travel required.
- A strong commitment to excellent customer service as demonstrated by consistently meeting deadlines and effective relationship building.
- Ability to work in a secure remote environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain sufficient credit to manage related job expenses including, but not limited to, applying to and being approved by a third party charge card agency.
- Strong consultative, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback and/or industry related feedback.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately share information with discretion.
- Ability to operate in an environment of rapidly changing priorities.
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects, a demanding workload, and tight timelines.
- Detail oriented, flexible and creative.
- Ability to maintain consistent, regular attendance.
- Knowledge of Current Dental Terminology ("CDT") codes and dental nomenclature.
Licenses
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State. Must have a valid driver's license and ability to maintain an acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle record and purchase and maintain $250,000/$500,000 collision damage liability insurance policy. Upon Hire Req'
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 18. $56,900 - $119,200
