Network Development Specialist

New York, NY / Remote

The Network Development Specialist plays a vital role within the enterprise's Network Development team, focusing on building and maintaining strong, stable provider networks on a national scale. This position is responsible for driving key recruitment activities and fostering meaningful relationships with providers, their staff, Dental Service Organizations (DSOs), and internal business partners across the enterprise. By cultivating both new and existing partnerships, the specialist ensures the success and growth of the network development strategy.

We are hoping to find this person located in the Northeast territories. This person may travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities:

· Develops and nurtures strong partnerships between providers and the company, focusing on creating and maintaining robust, stable provider networks.

· Oversees all recruitment initiatives and resources within the assigned territory, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

· Strategically plans and executes daily recruitment activities to maximize efficiency and impact.

· Evaluates the cost-effectiveness and strategic value of contracting specific providers to optimize network performance.

· Collaborates seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, fostering productive relationships and effective communication.
Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales experience, selling to providers in a high-volume environment.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • PC literacy required; MS Office skills.
  • Ability to maintain consistent, regular attendance.
  • Ability to work in a secure remote environment.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight stays; airplane travel required.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills including time management, collaboration, and network and competitor analysis
  • A strong commitment to excellent customer service as demonstrated by consistently meeting deadlines and effective relationship building.
  • Utilizes strong verbal and written communication, networking, negotiating, problem solving and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain sufficient credit to manage related job expenses including, but not limited to, applying to and being approved by a third party charge card agency.
  • Strong consultative, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback and/or industry related feedback.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately share information with discretion.
  • Ability to operate in an environment of rapidly changing priorities.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects, a demanding workload, and tight timelines.
  • Detail oriented, flexible and creative.
  • Knowledge of Current Dental Terminology (“CDT”) codes and dental nomenclature.

Licenses
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State. Must have a valid driver's license and ability to maintain an acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle record and purchase and maintain $250,000/$500,000 collision damage liability insurance policy. Upon Hire Req'

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 18. $56,900 - $119,200
