How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

In support of the Intelligence, Risk Mitigation, and Internal Security Programs team (IRM and ISP), the Co-op will work real-life security issues and support ISP programs, including:

  • Evaluating security policies, recommending updates, and developing new policies where needed.
  • Reviewing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various security programs.
  • Assisting team with collecting, analyzing, and refining security metrics.
  • Present results of analysis and other products to Management.
  • Developing reports and other products to manage and assess performance of programs.
  • Maintaining rigid confidentiality surrounding security tools/techniques and investigations.
  • Working on ad-hoc projects as assigned by manager.
  • Practicing safety conscious behaviors at all times.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Demonstrated interest in security issues.
  • Inquisitive with a natural curiosity and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Willingness/ability to learn new skills as required.
  • Must seek challenging work and be able to clearly convey project challenges, updates and results, and recommendations to all levels of management.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
