Work You'll Do
As a Tax Processor, you play a critical role in helping to deliver tax documents and client work products to our customers to meet tax filing and other business deadlines. You work closely with our tax professionals to ensure a quality product is delivered, which includes effectively processing and assembling tax returns and preparing hard copy and electronic deliverables. As this work can be seasonal, you also work with the operations team to help provide a full range of other business services in support of our Deloitte professionals, clients, and guests that align with and play to your strengths in customer support.

As a Tax Processor at Deloitte, your responsibilities will include:
- Effectively managing requests by assessing needs, securing all necessary details, negotiating deadlines, and communicating with customers to manage expectations
- Supporting various administrative tasks related to tax preparation, including processing and assembling tax returns and managing supplies and equipment
- Providing guidanceand training to other team members who provide back-up support and assist in the preparation of deliverables
- Adding value through critical thinking and anticipating needs to support quality deliverables and for effective management of essential periods and high work volume
- Collaborating with team members and management to ensure appropriate planning for incoming work and to solve problems and address conflicts
- Ensuring quality work product through effective execution of established guidelines and procedures; reviewing work product for quality, accuracy, and alignment with customer request
The Operations Team
At Deloitte, the internal operations team (known as the "One Team") provides a full range of hospitality and business services. We help our Deloitte professionals with daily office support needs, meeting and event planning and execution, and various other office operations and facility management services. Our team members work collaboratively and apply their specialized knowledge and skills to think proactively to provide a holistic customer-centric "experience" for our Deloitte professionals, clients, and guests.
What You'll Need
- Minimum of 1 years of related office support experience in a service-oriented or customer-centric environment
- High school diploma
- Availability to work overtime and weekends during peak tax filing periods
What's Nice to Have
- Associate/bachelor's degree
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office applications
- Corporate background with a focus on tax processing
- Technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Time management and organizational skills
- Critical thinking, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
- Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $36900 - $61500.
