Deloitte Tax LLP seeks a Tax Manager in Dallas, TX.
Work You'll Do
Coordinate large technology projects and implement tax technology tools. Guide clients through their selection of software packages. Assist clients with their evaluation of their current processes and data flow surrounding tax technology tools and help them implement improvements. Train clients on how to use the tax technology tools implemented, and support clients with their use of tax technology tools. Supervise assignments carried out by Consultants and Senior Consultants. Help develop and motivate engagement staff, and provide leadership, counseling, and career guidance. Identify and effectively communicate project status and tax technical/service issues to the senior management team, including Partners, Principals, Directors, and Senior Managers.

Requirements
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- Five years as a Tax Manager or related occupation gaining tax automation experience.
- Experience must include three years of:
- Participating in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including designing, developing, testing, and implementing;
- Coordinating the implementation of user stories, including performing database design, development, and testing, and ensuring quality delivery;
- Developing UI screens using AngularJS modules, routing, views, services, and directives;
- Performing end-to-end manual deployments of AngularJS Web App, .NET REST Web APIs, Microsoft SQL databases, and Windows Task Schedulers for on-premises (non-Azure) clients;
- Coordinating client support activities for development phase of projects, including ensuring appropriate direction of support tickets, triaging defects, and communicating with engagement teams and clients;
- Creating Microsoft Excel add-ins using Angular and .NET Core;
- Developing web applications using AngularJS and Angular frameworks, APIs, and services and leveraging .NET technologies, including ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and Web API;
- Developing solutions based on Microsoft Azure incorporating .NET Azure functions, including HTTP trigger, Azure Service Bus triggers, Timer triggers, and Service Bus queues;
- Accessing, uploading, and downloading files in Azure Storage accounts using Azure Blob Storage and REST APIs; and
- Using Azure SQL to implement self-service Taxonomy Management features.
