Work you'll do / Responsibilities
As a Cloud Network Architect, you will be responsible for leading all activities related to the network architecture and operation of the Open Cloud platform operating on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You must understand how to deploy complex network solutions such as virtualized Palo Alto firewall environments and be an innovative problem solver. You will possess the discipline to work and succeed in a fast-paced and organizationally complex environment, effectively adapt to rapidly changing technologies-all while building, leading, and managing teams. You will provide technical leadership and focus on delivery of quality solutions. You will mentor engineering team members on technical decision making and enforce engineering practices and standards.

Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of technical experience with network infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP)
- Experience managing the architecture and operational support of the network infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Must have hands-on expertise with Palo Alto networking solutions
- 10+ years of experience working with routers, switches, provisioning, firewalls, and security (specifically Palo Alto)
- 10+ years of experience assessing and facilitating network requests, including firewall policies and VPN in the cloud environment
- Deep understanding of rules, policies, ports, blocks, and VPN technologies
- Robust experience allocating resources, building, and managing large networking teams
- Deep Experience with DevOps and/or Automation tools - Terraform, Ansible, Git, etc.
- Experience working across multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel up to 10% overnight for client/project travel
