Work You'll Do:

  • Innovate with Cloud Development: Work on native cloud development projects within cross-functional teams, leveraging the latest cloud technologies.
  • Architect and Integrate: Design, develop, and integrate complex systems using modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
  • Deliver High-Quality Code: Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of our clients and ensure seamless functionality.
  • Manage Projects Efficiently: Oversee priorities, dependencies, dates, and deliverables for the team, ensuring timely and successful project completion.

CBO Cloud Engineering Team

Our US Cloud Engineering Offering focuses on enabling our clients' end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud. We offer opportunities in Cloud Strategy and Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development & Integration, Cloud Migration, and Cloud Infrastructure & Managed Services. Our team supports clients in enhancing agility and resilience, identifying opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation, and accelerating their journey towards a technology-driven future. We leverage vendor solutions, Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators to deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Educational Background: bachelor's degree in a STEM or related field with programming experience.
  • Passion for Innovation: Demonstrated enthusiasm for using software engineering to bring innovative solutions to business challenges.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to developing skills and expertise in native cloud and full stack programming.
  • Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Experience:
    • 6+ years of experience with web (especially backend) and other software development with solid programming skills.
    • 6+ years of experience with databases and data visualization/dashboards.
    • 6+ years of proven technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experience.
    • Previous experience with leadership.
    • Previous consulting experience.
  • Sponsorship: Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Industry Experience: Relevant software engineering experiences in industry.
  • Agile Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile development processes.
  • Tech-Savvy: Interest in working in fast-paced tech and product-oriented environments.
  • Business Engagement: Proficiency in engaging business stakeholders and adept at business engagement and requirement discovery.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
  • Independent Operation: Capability to operate independently or with minimum supervision.

Wages + Salary

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $151,800 to $253,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
