Work you will do/Responsibilities
- Lead development teams to provide technical deliverables in accordance with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies such as SCRUM and Agile
- Design, develop, and modify software systems and custom components using modern dev stack
- Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards; confer with users or system engineers
- Analyze systems flow, data usage, work processes, and investigate problem areas
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems
- Develop and execute test procedures for software components
- Analyze user requirements to derive technical software design and performance requirements
- Plan, track, and manage deliverables on short-term sprints and long-term software deployments

AM&I is composed of three different areas: Service Delivery & Business Design, Application Modernization & Migration, and Quality Engineering.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years of full stack software development on web and client/server solutions
- 6+ years of experience with back-end Java development
- 6+ years of experience using modern front-end language (React, Typescript, etc.)
- Must have experience working with NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, MariaDB, etc.)
- Experience with Spring Framework, JMS, SOAP, and REST web services
- Experience with event-driven programming/ architecture
- Must have an active Public Trust or Top-Secret Clearance
- Ability to travel up to 10% overnight for client/project travel
- Expected to co-locate in your designated geo hub location up to 30% of the time based on business needs
- Must live in a commutable distance (a 100-mile radius) to one of the following delivery locations: Gilbert, AZ - Lake Mary, FL - Atlanta, GA - Charlotte, NC - Mechanicsburg, PA - Philadelphia PA - Houston, TX - Dallas, TX - with the ability to commute to the assigned location without the need for overnight accommodations
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- DevOps experience - CI/CD pipeline
- Familiarity with ETL tools, Kafka, application security, automation testing, UML
