Responsible for Network and Security planning, deploying, and optimizing new solutions. Take on the role of product manager or product owner for enterprise-wide established technologies or to be deployed.

Oversees the translation of business objectives into cohesive Network or Security recommendations and solutions.

Directs the planning and building of new Network and Security solutions, establishes technical standards, and ensures appropriate integration with other networks and systems.

Lead the transition of new technologies between Architecture and Engineering and ensure all appropriate documents and processes are developed. Manage the training of junior engineers on new solutions and the transition to Operation. Be a change agent with Architecture and Operations to improve current technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs and controls activities of design, analysis, planning, and implementation. Reviews and prioritizes network needs.
  • Leads the deployment across the entire enterprise of new solutions including overseeing the purchases and updates processes and documentations.
  • Oversees the development and evaluation of network and firewalls performance criteria and measurement methods.
  • Leads the evaluation of Network and Security architecture design, in addition to feasibility and cost studies.
  • Performs troubleshooting procedures and designs resolution scripts. Provides subject matter expert support and resolution.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple efforts.
  • Lead network and security assessments and audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices, and addressing vulnerabilities proactively.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development in advanced network security technologies.

Technology & Infrastructure

The Technology and Infrastructure Organization works together to transform how DT - US deploys technologies and services to meet the dynamic needs of Deloitte professionals and help increase their productivity.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in supporting infrastructure environment but not limited to system, firewall, network...
  • 6+ years related experience in security and network environments performing planning and engineering (hardware and software) and optimization.
  • 2+ years with previous people leadership or project management experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or similar and/or additional relevant professional experience
  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Firewall Technologies: In-depth knowledge of Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Network Security: Strong understanding of network security principles, including VPNs, IPS/IDS, and threat prevention.
  • Networking Protocols: Proficiency with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and other networking protocols.
  • Security Policies and Procedures: Ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Cloud Security: Familiarity with securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and integrating Palo Alto firewalls with these platforms.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,100 to $232,300.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
