Position Summary
Deloitte Services LP seeks a Senior Consultant EFA in Houston, TX.
Work You'll Do
Support one or more engagement teams through successful management of the financial analysis and reconciliation processes and the implementation of engagement management controls; oversee the activities of junior EC staff, including supervision, task management and deliverable quality reviews; perform various financial analyses such as reconciliations and variance analysis; lead and oversee budget preparation activities and forecasts; project and track financial metrics such as revenue and expense; interact frequently with senior level internal and external clients and firm leadership to present various analyses, discuss recommendations and provide engagement financial advice; track expenditures and manage client bill and receivable collection functions; perform and manage engagement management office (PMO) functional tasks and perform day-to-day contract management activities; conduct quality reviews of and provide feedback on the technical work products of junior resources; and develop and implement standards and processes for engagement management, quality management, and risk management. Will commute within the Houston, TX area to consult with clients concerning the above job duties.

Requirements
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- Eighteen months of experience as a Senior Consultant EFA or related occupation gaining experience preparing financial management reports for clients.
- Experience must include eighteen months of:
- Performing revenue forecasts and cash flow analysis for multiple clients to determine project profitability;
- Assessing engagement pricing by creating scenarios to evaluate profitability metrics, mitigate risks, and provide strategic and analytical support for pricing optimization;
- Creating advanced Excel tools to track financials, conducting variance analysis to report financial metrics, assessing project performance, and identifying risks;
- Performing financial analysis and reconciliation to determine accurate KPIs including analysis on project and account margins to advise on key business decisions;
- Liaising with US and global business entities on contract negotiations, including financial metrics to ensure agreement on terms and conditions, revenue sharing, and rate fluctuation risk;
- Implementing financial processes to deliver project outcomes in accordance with client approved contracts and budgets;
- Developing account planning processes within the CRM system to track client opportunities, firm revenue, and sales pipeline, and to ensure data integrity and compliance with account and firm guidelines;
- Utilizing AO (Analysis for MS office) in conjunction with SAP-based ERP system to create and modify queries for client profitability, revenue, and expense reporting; and
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff, including quality control reviews, assessing performance, and providing career development projects.
- Less than 10% domestic travel outside normal commuting distance.
