The GPS AI & Data Engineering offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active Secret US Security Clearance Required
  • Competed DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP) or ability to complete certification within two weeks of starting.
  • 2+ years of experience working with AWS Data Lake services such as - AWS Glue, S3 Lambda, SNS, IAM
    1-2 years of experience in deploying and supporting Kubernetes on at least one public IAAS provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
    2+ years of experience in programming/scripting languages (Ansible, Terraform, and Python).
    Local to Dayton, OH and able to go onsite 1-2 days per week

Preferred Skills

  • 1-2 Years of experience in developing data lakes, datamarts on the Databricks platform.
  • Requires excellent analytical ability, problem-solving, and consulting, communication, and change management skills
  • Knowledge of agile engineering practices, development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, with hands-on experience in Automation/Continuous Integration using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub or equivalent.
