Responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP PaPM solutions to help organizations enhance their profitability and performance management capabilities. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, translating these into technical solutions, and ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of SAP PaPM.

Solution Design, Implementation and Maintenance:
    • Lead the design and implementation of SAP PaPM solutions tailored to meet specific business needs.
    • Develop detailed functional and technical specifications based on business requirements.
    • Configure SAP PaPM modules and components to align with organizational goals.
    • Support the PaPM system for break fixes, enhancements, and ongoing improvements.

Business Analysis:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for profitability and performance management.
    • Conduct workshops and interviews to understand current processes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Translate business needs into actionable technical solutions within SAP PaPM.

Data Management and Integration:
    • Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
    • Integrate SAP PaPM with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW) and external systems.
    • Manage data modeling and ensure the proper setup of data flows within SAP PaPM.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:
    • Develop and implement performance metrics, KPIs, and profitability analysis models.
    • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.

Technical Support and Maintenance:
    • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for SAP PaPM solutions.
    • Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides.

Training and User Support:
    • Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders to ensure effective use of SAP PaPM.
    • Provide user support and address any system-related queries or issues.
    • Promote best practices and ensure users are proficient in utilizing SAP PaPM.

Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated with the latest SAP PaPM features, functionalities, and industry best practices.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of SAP PaPM solutions.

Collaboration:

  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.
  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.

The Team

The Enterprise Operations as a Service Offering addresses our clients' needs for on-going operations of their technology and business process investments through multi-year contracts. We deliver continuous modernization, upgrades, and address incremental business changes as part of our engagements through our 5 key offerings: SAP Operations, Oracle Operations, IT Operations, Supply Chain Operations, Finance Operations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience implementing and managing SAP PaPM solutions.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with SAP modules and financial management systems.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with SAP PaPM configuration and customization.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with data management, ETL processes, and data integration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience of working/understanding of financial processes, including profitability analysis, cost management, and performance measurement
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and other related SAP modules.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be able to start on 1/6/2025.
  • Remote but will be required to travel occasionally to Boston.

Preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years working in the Insurance Industry
  • Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,875 to $145,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
