Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud Architect
Deloitte Digital offers services that enable client solutions using digital technologies, including the Web, Mobile, Social Networking, Digital Strategy, Digital Content and Digital ERP. The Digital Web team works with clients to advise, design, implement and deploy eCommerce and Portal solutions.
Our eCommerce capabilities provide transactional solutions related to online marketing, sales and service; for both Direct-To-Consumer and Business-to-Business. Our Portal capabilities provide intranet and internet solutions focused on content presentment and transaction capabilities for both internal enterprise as well as customer facing purposes.

Work you'll do
You will be using your digital expertise to Lead/support technical teams to architect, build, create, and deploy unique eCommerce solutions for each client. You'll help clients define their eCommerce requirements by leading and facilitating working sessions to gain an understanding of the client's current state processes and technology in the eCommerce space as well as supporting the implementation that follows
- Lead project discovery workshops, both on-site and remotely
- Act in a leadership role on client projects and for junior staff.
- Identify client process pain points and gaps in best practices
- Understand Commerce architecture (Service Layers, Logic Layers, Data Layers), data models, customizations & extensions and recommend best practices
- Communicate platform capabilities and limitations to clients effectively
- Understand and follow established Salesforce Commerce / Legacy CloudCraze development standards and best practices
- Develop integrations for Salesforce-based applications and improvements
The team
Deloitte's Advertising, Marketing & Commerce team creates content, communications, and experiences that engage and inspire our client's customers to act. We implement and operate the technology platforms that enable personalized content, commerce, and marketing user-centric experiences. We build and operate complex, modern, customer-centric B2B and B2C marketing experiences and digital products across all digital touchpoints and offer a full in-house advertising and marketing agency
Qualifications:
Required
- 5+ years of IT experience
- 1+ years Salesforce.com Development experience / Salesforce.com Developer Course 401 (or equivalent)
- 1+ years of experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud ( on core ) Solution (Cloud Craze)
- 2+ years of experience with Commerce platforms
- Ability to travel 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred
- Hands on Salesforce commerce cloud "on Core or B2B" or legacy "CloudCraze" development experience and system administration
- In Depth understanding of Salesforce commerce cloud "on Core or B2B" or legacy CloudCraze architecture, data models, customizations & extensions
- Well versed with Salesforce security model and Communities
- Extensive experience to develop integrated execution plans including resources leveling, effort estimations, cross-team dependencies
- Experience implementing large scale eCommerce solutions including enterprise architecture, ERP integration, robust services layer, payment providers, etc.
- Strong knowledge of designing Architecture Diagrams and Data flows
- Knowledge of End to End Order Management lifecycle
- Experience with RESTful Service Architecture
- Evaluation and selection of appropriate software / hardware based on technical need
- Capable of recommending best practice solutions based on project and business needs and owning overall design of the technical application
- Oversee assigned programs (i.e. conduct code reviews) and guide team members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to tailor messaging to audience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Salesforce Certifications are a plus
- Experience with the Agile methodology
- Knowledge and awareness of leading ESB & ETL applications such as MuleSoft, Informatica

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $131,175 to $218,625.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
