Work you'll do

Deloitte is looking for dedicated RTE to join our Infrastructure team supporting a GPS Client. The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART). The RTE's major responsibilities are to facilitate the ART events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value. RTEs communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvements

Core Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitation of processes at the program level, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring the program scrum teams practice agile principles.
  • Performing system demos to demonstrate and validate all of the system features developed during the program increment and to gather feedback from the Product Manager and key stakeholders.
  • Planning and obtaining resources and tools to organize, run, and facilitate the Program Increment (PI) Planning within the ART Budget.
  • Establishing program-level cadence and driving program-level ceremonies (e.g., Planning, Product Management Council, Scrum of Scrums, System Demo Inspect, Adapt Workshop) to manage and optimize the flow of value through the program.
  • Establishing and communicating the annual calendars for iterations and program increment cadence.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of Agile Coach or Release Train Management professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active secret security clearance required
  • Travel up to 30%

Preferred:

  • Former government consulting professional experience
  • Scrum and/or Agile Certifications
