Position Summary

In all your interactions - with clients, project managers, designers, engineers, and more - you'll advocate for what users want, need, and expect from the products we create. You're innovative, quick-thinking, and eager to learn more about what's happening in the interactive space. Your UX design skills are top-notch, and you have a knack for making the complex clear.

Work You'll Do

  • Deliver innovative strategies that build compelling user experiences that lead to successful launches of large, complex initiatives.
  • Oversee the successful design and development of client projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all deliverables meet client expectations while driving continuous improvement.
  • Guide content management and system configuration to ensure long-term sustainability for the client's website.
  • Key responsibilities include managing sprints, refining backlogs, and writing user stories for development teams, particularly with Sitecore CMS.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or technical degree
  • 2+ years of design experience in a consulting or in-house environment
  • Additional government consulting experience
  • A robust portfolio that demonstrates your experience, storytelling, and design presentation skills
  • Experience with modern design tools like Sketch, Axure, Principle, Framer, and InVision
  • Experience using tools like Excel, Tableau, and Power BI for performing data analysis and visualization
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

  • Experience communicating complex ideas graphically within a complex environment
  • Experience in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop UX recommendations
  • Experience with early-stage products and new product development, from ideation specification to the delivery of a finished product
  • Proven ability to successfully collaborate with internal stakeholders from various parts of the organization, such as engineering, to drive successful outcomes cross-functionally
  • Government and Public Service industry experience
  • Management Consulting experience
