Work you'll do/Responsibilities
- This project outlines the creation and reconfiguration of POD teams to address new projects and phases in personal lines insurance at Deloitte's Insurance Client. Teams will be either newly formed or reconfigured with over 50% new resources to ensure they possess the necessary skills for innovative and evolving project requirements.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance web applications using .NET and Node.js, ensuring best practices in coding and security.
- Oversee the deployment of applications to cloud platforms (AWS) and configure CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews and mentor junior developers in writing unit test cases using frameworks like NUnit, Mocha, or Chai to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Drive the analysis, design, write API Specs using OAS/Swagger, and resolution of complex defects and incidents, defining technical requirements and architecture.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and sprint demos; collaborate with Product Owners to define and prioritize the product backlog; ensure the team adheres to agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Utilize Jira for tracking project progress, managing tasks, maintaining transparency, generating and sharing Jira statistics and reports to provide insights into team performance, sprint velocity, and project health; ensure accurate and timely updates of Jira tickets by the team.
- Gather and report on agreed agile metrics with Deloitte and Client leadership, continually monitoring upcoming risks and dependencies, and steering the team to manage expected outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
- Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Qualifications
Required
- 9+ years of experience working in design, development, and maintenance of high-performance web applications using .Net Development Tech stacks ensuring best practices in coding and security.
- 9+ years working with SQL Database and AWS
- 9+ years of application performance experience by tuning Node.js server configurations, leveraging caching strategies, and using performance monitoring tools.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

- Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
