Work you'll do/ Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership throughout the development life cycle and focus on delivery of quality solutions
  • Mentor engineering team members on technical decision making, code reviews, and enforcing engineering practices and standards
  • Architect and develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers
  • Lead technical discussions and build consensus among engineers

  • Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout the project; develop and implement mitigation measures
  • Work with team to create and influence proper standards for development, governance, and operational lifecycle
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of MuleSoft & cloud integration operations and delivery

The US Cloud Engineering Offering focuses on enabling our client's end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of Cloud Strategy and Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development & Integration, Cloud Migration, and Cloud Infrastructure & Managed Services. Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility and resilience, and the team identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients toward a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions, Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of development implementing and supporting Enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements
  • Interface architecture experience with one or more on-premise / SaaS packaged solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce, or mobile (e.g. Salesforce, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Workday, Apache Hadoop, etc.)
  • Working experience with either Java, JavaScript, .NET, or Python
  • Working experience on various MuleSoft versions such as 3.x and 4.x, preferably 4+ version
  • Knowledge or previous experience in designing public and private enterprise secure services using RAML and REST based APIs including SOAP based APIs
  • In-depth knowledge and working experience on Mule Expression Language (MEL) and Data Weave Language (DWL) (1.x and 2.x)
  • Working experience on MuleSoft On-Premise and cloud environments
  • Experience with Tomcat, XML, JMS, WS-*, SOA integration, and API Management technologies and standards
  • Deep understanding of API lifecycle; experience with all the lifecycle stages
  • Hands-on experience on implementing certificate-based security for Mule applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to understand, document, and clearly describe complex technical subjects
  • Ability to travel up to 10% overnight for client/project travel
  • Expected to co-locate in your designated geo hub location up to 30% of the time based on business needs
  • Must live in a commutable distance (a 100-mile radius) to one of the following delivery locations: Gilbert, AZ - Lake Mary, FL - Atlanta, GA - Charlotte, NC - Mechanicsburg, PA - Philadelphia PA - Houston, TX - Dallas, TX - with the ability to commute to the assigned location without the need for overnight accommodations
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS cloud
  • Hands-on experience with build management tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.
  • Experience delivering in scrum, agile, and other methodologies
