Work you'll do

As an OTT Insurance Transformation Manager/Specialist Master, you will bring technical expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients. Other position responsibilities include:

  • Data Modeling: Develop and maintain insurance data models that support business requirements and Guidewire systems.
  • Data Migration and Conversion: Collaborate with ETL teams to ensure seamless data migration to cloud environments.
  • Architecture Design: Lead the architectural design and implementation of data solutions, focusing on scalability, flexibility, and resilience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data scientists, and IT to deliver comprehensive data solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications
Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years' consulting or relevant Insurance experience within Property & Casualty - Personal Lines, Commercial Lines or Specialty Insurance
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in data architecture, with significant experience in Guidewire data models, CDA, Datahub, Data Studio, across Policy/Claims with a deep understanding of the insurance data model
  • Proven experience in Guidewire Policy, Billing, and Claims data analysis across the underlying entities, attributes, relationship, data lakes, big data architectures, and advanced analytics
  • Strong background in integrating enterprise systems with data platforms
  • Experience with cloud-based data lakes (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • In-depth knowledge of data engineering practices and ETL processes
  • 6+ years of experience supporting at least one large Business Integration effort and project team through one or more project lifecycle phases from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development and testing
  • 4+ years' experience directly managing teams - including onshore, offshore, nearshore with direct reporting responsibility
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in area of technical specialization
  • Relevant Guidewire certifications
  • Guidewire ACE certification - strongly preferred

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $137,700 to $229,500.
