Infrastructure System Administrator
Location: Deloitte University - Westlake, TX

Work you'll do
Provide technical services in the areas of computer hardware and software. Administers, configures, monitors and tests application servers for business and network operations. Provides suggestions and recommendations for new technology solutions. Work with senior level engineers to implement applications and technology solutions. Monitor daily data and application server backups, upgrades, and patches. Responds to and resolves any critical issues impacting production and other system environments. May serve internal or external clients.

The DU Technology & Infrastructure (T&I) Team delivers services internally including:
- Network Management (LAN, WAN, WLAN)
- Incident Management (Following ITIL Model)
- Server Deployment
- Storage Management
- Technology & Infrastructure
- Application Management
- Relationship Management
- Hotel specific technologies
- Audio Visual Services
- Compliance & Security Standards
- Communications
Qualifications
Required:
- 8+ years of experience supporting IT Infrastructure Systems & Network environments and/or 6 years with advanced degree
- 2+ years of experience supporting Windows environments including but not limited to:
- Recent editions of Windows Server Administration and maintenance
- Basic understanding of application troubleshooting
- Microsoft Office/365
- 2+ years of experience supporting Network infrastructure including but not limited to:
- Basic understand of network technologies ie: routing & switching
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant field and/or additional relevant IT related experience
- Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred:
- Highly preferred 2+ year supporting Project Coordination/Mgmt
- Scripting protocols (Powershell, VBS, Python, etc.)
- Preferred MCSE & CCNA, Azure/AWS/GCP Cloud Certifications
- General understanding of cyber security practices
- Eager to learn
- Team oriented
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Familiar with the following
- Cisco IOS and/or NX-OS
- Cisco CUCM and UCCX
- VMWare ESXi
- HPE 3Par
- Infor HMS and Sales & Catering platforms
- Guestroom technology (InfoValue/Crave/JamF MDM solution)
