Position Summary
Deloitte is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst in FP&A for our growing Government and Public Services (GPS) practice. In this role, you will help GPS leadership assess, forecast, and drive the financial performance of the business, analyzing a wide variety of firm financial data and deriving actionable insights. You will join a team of experienced financial professionals and help us drive improvements to our financial analysis capabilities.

Role Description
The Finance Business Partner organization provides specialized finance-related services in support of the business leaders of the firm. The Finance Business Partner role will support the organization in meeting the financial demands and needs of their designated business.

In providing finance-related services to the business:
- Manage development of overall GPS national office plan, forecast, and scenario modeling
- Explain, present, and analyze the financial performance of the business
- Serve as advisor to leaders on national office financial operations, program spend, and cost structure by sharing insights and recommendations impacting financial performance.
- Participate in strategy development and risk management with operational teams and business leaders
- Engage in business-wide financial activities to support operations, drive transformation, and fulfill deliverables across the matrixed organization.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar quantitative subject
- 6+ years of relevant financial analysis experience, preferably in a professional services firm
- Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:
- Working with various organization teams and leadership
- Problem solving skills
- Quality and risk management
- Project and change management
- Business process improvement
- Formulating and delivering action plans for high profile strategic initiatives
- Developing innovative solutions to business issues
- Experience with SAP Analysis for Office, SAP Business Client and other financial applications
- Advanced in MS Excel, Powerpoint and Word
- Must be able to work with a team that is primarily based in east coast time
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred
- Familiarity with government contracts
- Familiarity with a matrix organizational structure
- Professional services financial experience
- Experience working with offshore and remote teams
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $49,400 - $91,000
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
