The Team

At Deloitte Tax LLP, our Global Employer Services professionals help multinational clients develop programs, processes and digital offerings to manage a global workforce and the compliance obligations arising from global mobility, business travel and remote working. People within our digital team come from a diverse background - they partner with our go-to-market teams and global clients to solve challenging problems and design experiences and products that anticipate what our Deloitte clients will want and also solutions that keep them compliant with global and local regulations.

Work you'll do

As Head of Product, Digital Transformation Specialist Executive within the business-aligned, GES Technology group, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of experienced product owners and work directly with global senior stakeholders from the business, platform and solution architects, program leaders, and software design teams. You will play a critical role in shaping our product portfolio's strategic direction, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives and growth aspirations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will guide the development and execution of our product portfolio, from concept to launch, and beyond. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in building a strong team, driving innovation, enhancing client satisfaction and user experience, and maximizing business impact.

  • Define and drive product strategy by partnering with business stakeholders to capture 'voice of the client' and by liaising between business stakeholders and product owners
  • Translate complex solutions into understandable and visual representations and strategies, as well as present these both internally and externally to senior leadership, key stakeholders.
  • Develop a strong product culture within team that is grounded in continuous innovation, collaboration, risk mitigation and rapid learning
  • Build and lead a high-performing product management team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize product initiatives and allocate resources effectively.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, providing strategic product insights and recommendations.
  • Drive the successful execution of the product roadmap by working closely with cross-functional teams. Be a strong internal evangelist and inspire and motivate all stakeholders to move in the same direction.
  • Responsible for strategic partnerships and lead necessary contract negotiations
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product success, such as user engagement, conversion rates, and client satisfaction and use these metrics to identify areas for improvement in the overall user experience.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 12+ years of experience in product management with 5+ years in a senior leadership role. Extensive experience in product management, including product strategy, roadmap development, and product lifecycle management.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience working with senior stakeholders, both internal and external, across multiple geographies
  • 5+ years of experience leading a team of very experienced product owners with a passion for building high-performing organizations
  • Up to 25% travel required domestically/internationally
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or with equivalent work experience
  • At least one of the Deloitte approved accreditations: Licensed CPA, Enrolled Agent, and/or SAFe Agilist Certified

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of product development processes and agile methodologies.
  • Track record of successfully launching and scaling innovative, customer-centric products.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of successfully leading and motivating teams. High-level motivational skills so that you can also manage virtual teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in the English language in order to communicate with senior leadership as well as with colleagues and external stakeholders on complex topics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to lead discussions and make decisions.
  • Experience in driving digital product culture and overcoming traditional thinking.
  • Strong execution skills with a track record of success in complex stakeholder environments.
  • Background in consulting or sales is highly desirable.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
