Work you'll do

As a Project Delivery Senior Analyst in the Technology group you will:

  • Support Implementation and Operations Management best practices
  • Lead and support tasks and portions of the project scope on engagements related but not limited to Systems Implementation, Operations & Maintenance and Helpdesk Operations
  • Perform analysis and diagnosis of client issues
  • Demonstrate a foundational understanding of the client environment and overall project scope
  • Identify and solve problems using analysis, experience, and judgment
  • Independently perform tasks with some guidance to execute a portion of the project scope

Our Technology team works with clients to help them develop custom software solutions, manage their applications and databases, and provide strategic recommendations to help them optimize their businesses' operations, processes, and performance.

Description

Experience in management of government contracts and associated compliance.

Financial Management:
Manage the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for government contracts.
Track and report on project financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment processing in accordance with contract terms.

Compliance Monitoring:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Conduct regular financial audits and reviews to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Develop and implement financial compliance policies and procedures.

Risk Management:
Identify and assess financial risks associated with contract execution and compliance.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Report on financial risk management activities and outcomes to senior management.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare detailed financial reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.

Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders regarding financial and compliance matters.
Facilitate clear and effective communication between all parties involved.
Prepare and present financial performance and compliance status reports.

Budgeting and Cost Control:
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and organizational goals.
Monitor and control project costs to prevent overruns and ensure financial efficiency.
Implement cost-saving measures and optimize resource allocation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to work independently under general guidance
  • Experience working in teams and in a team environment that is process-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Professional oral and written communication skills
  • Relevant software or application skills to complete job successfully
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Candidate must be local to the Sacramento area

Preferred:

  • Prior professional services or government consulting experience

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $76,725 to $127,875.
