Work you'll do

  • Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects
  • Provide project and career counseling/coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with clients and internal Deloitte team, including leading regularly recurring meetings and managing staff hours and assignments
  • Direct analytic approach strategy and provide analytic expertise to staff and clients
  • Display both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues
  • Display leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions
  • Provide expertise and develop capacity in healthcare analytics to support federal and state/local program integrity efforts
  • Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process
  • Support business development and proposal creation/management, client service, and project management

Responsibilities: Serve as a policy and investigative subject-matter expert for program integrity in Medicare and Medicaid. Support development of models in Medicare and Medicaid with a primary focus on managed care and prescription drugs. Identify new fraud, waste, and abuse vulnerabilities in Medicare and Medicaid. Identify innovative approaches, ranging from AI to investigative practices, to improve the identification of fraud, waste, and abuse.

Our Program Integrity team focuses on thought diversity and collaborative problem solving to help clients address these challenges holistically, with a common goal to protect the integrity of their programs.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
  • Ability to travel 0-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Experience managing senior-level client relationships
  • Experience managing and building capacity in analytics teams
  • Expertise in federal healthcare policy, Medicare and/or Medicaid claims data, and program integrity
  • Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Experience with Fraud Analytics
  • Experience leading and managing interdisciplinary teams of junior and mid-level analysts
  • Program Management Office (PMO) experience
  • Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience

Preferred:

  • Experience with identifying potential fraud, waste, and abuse
  • Experience with program and policy evaluation
  • Quality assurance and metrics development capacity
  • Business Intelligence or analytics communications experiences
  • Experience leading and growing AI/ML teams
