Work you'll do

The FP&A implementation Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality consulting services to clients, focusing on the implementation and optimization of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) systems. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their business needs, configuring FP&A solutions, and ensuring successful deployment and adoption. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, consulting, and systems implementation.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the client's FP&A function.
  • Design and implement best practices for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Lead the configuration, customization, and deployment of Pigment FP&A software for clients.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to support client decision-making.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy during the migration and integration processes.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and performance.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for client end-users.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for FP&A system users.
  • Create and maintain user documentation and system guides.
  • Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Audit professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per week
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or accounting roles
  • Certification in one or more of the following, Agile Scrum Master CSM - Certified Scrum Master DAVSC - Discipline Agile Value Stream Consultant PMP - Project Management Professional Six Sigma NetSuite Certification Zuora Revenue Certification Boomi Certification
  • Experience in implementing FP&A systems (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Hyperion)
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of leading successful implementations
  • Proficiency in FP&A software and tools
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • Previous "Big 4" experience
  • MBA and / or other relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA)
  • Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive, Pigment, or other relevant industry certification
  • ERP data migration and cutover experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Ability to manage teams and stakeholders in global locations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
  • Ability to successfully manage client and team interactions, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Eagerness to mentor junior staff
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a virtual environment

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $108,430 to $242,580.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
